Windows 8 Enterprise RTM activator

It has been a few days when Microsoft confirmed that it has finalized Windows 8 RTM version which will be released to MSDN and TechNet subscribers on 15th of August, 2012. Previously Microsoft had announced that there will be only 4 editions of Windows 8. While Windows 8 Pro and Windows 8 Enterprise editions are the most complete and feature rich editions of Windows, you can see the difference between Windows 8 Pro and Windows 8 Enterprise.

Just days before the official launch of Windows 8 RTM, Windows 8 Enterprise x64 has been leaked and is available for download on the Internet. This leak is mostly hosted on torrents and file sharing sites. The leaked version of Windows 8 Enterprise edition seems to be legitimate. This version of Windows does not include Windows Media Player so you will need to install a third party media player in order to play video and audio in this version of Windows 8 Enterprise.
Since the leaked ISO is from the Volume Licensing channel, no product key is required to install Windows 8. But you will need to activate it online. Microsoft’s KMS activation works in Windows 8 Enterprise edition and I will share how you can activate Windows 8 for a limited period of time:
  1. Open command prompt
  2. To see the current license information of Windows 8, type the following command:
    slmgr /dli
  3. To see the detailed information of the current license type, type the following command:
    slmgr /dlv
  4. To see the expiration date of the current license, type the following command:
    slmgr /xpr
  5. To extend the current license grace period again and rearm Windows, type the following command:
    slmgr /rearm
